Jakarta — FinHope joined the Welcoming Freshmen program for the 2025/2026 Academic Year at Universitas Bunda Mulia (UBM) with an engaging session titled “Building Financial Literacy for a Brighter Future.” The initiative reflects FinHope’s commitment to equipping the younger generation with essential money management skills as they embark on their academic journey.
Through interactive and practical discussions, new students learned the fundamentals of personal finance, the importance of early financial planning, and how to navigate opportunities and risks in today’s digital economy.
“Healthy financial habits should start early—especially during the transition to university life when students face the challenge of distinguishing between wants and needs,” said Alicia Cailtyn Susanto, Founder of FinHope. “We’re here not just to share knowledge, but to nurture a responsible financial mindset.”
The session drew enthusiastic participation, with students gaining practical tips on budgeting, managing allowances, and making smart choices in saving and investing.
FinHope also announced the winners of its Financial Planning for Tomorrow: Your Smart Steps After High School essay contest. Five students earned scholarships covering up to 100% of their tuition, reinforcing FinHope’s mission to empower youth with financial skills that foster independence, critical thinking, and wise decision-making—skills vital for their careers and future lives.
